With 30 years of leadership experience—including 19 years as a consultant—Derek has worked across numerous industries, with deep specialization in the manufacturing sector, including Aerospace, Defense, Medical Device, Machining, Plastic Packaging, Food, Foundry, Wire & Cable, Syntactic Materials, and Microelectronics. He is widely known for bridging the gap between leadership development and operational execution, with extensive expertise implementing and improving management systems that drive real performance outcomes.
Derek’s passion is developing leaders of leaders—those responsible for shaping culture, building high-performing teams, and leading through complexity. He also serves as a leadership trainer and coach for the U.S. Air Force and is the founder of a nonprofit organization supporting values-driven development and impact.
